What do I get in the box?

Your Awesome Chef box will have all the ingredients that you need to cook the recipe(s) that you’ve ordered. Your ingredients will be individually packed and pre-portioned for easier cooking. You will also receive a recipe card with step-by-step instructions.

Are the vegetables cut and chopped?

One of the key essence of cooking is cutting and chopping the vegetables. As detailed in this blog post (click here), we do not provide chopped vegetables as they lose nutrients and freshness.

What types of food do you offer?

We offer a variety of culinary delights – from Indian, Continental, Thai, Indonesian, Chinese and to our own creations.

When will I receive my order?

All orders placed before 8pm are delivered the following day. Our courier delivers packages between 10.30am and 6pm. Most of our customers receive the order between 12pm and 6pm. If you need it in a specific time, be sure to enter that in the “notes” column while placing the order.

Can I change my order once it’s been placed?

It is possible to change an order that has not yet shipped or before 8pm of the order day either by emailing us or calling us. Orders cannot be cancelled once the item has been shipped or after 8pm.

What are the delivery charges?

Delivery is free for most parts of Chennai. Some areas have a minimum order amount and a few areas have a minimum order + delivery charge. These will be shown on the screen once you have entered your pin code at the time of checkout.

Party/bulk orders might be charged extra depending on quantity.

Where do you currently deliver?

Currently we only deliver in Chennai but plan to expand our operations in the near future.

Do you offer same day delivery?

At this point we do not offer same day delivery.

What are the modes of payment?

You can pay using your Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. All payments are processed securely by CitrusPay. We do not store your Credit Card information nor do we receive the information you provide during payment. We only receive the transaction status – success or failure, to process the orders.

What if my delivery is missing an ingredient?

Please contact us and we will make it right.

What day of the week will my package be delivered?

We deliver on all days of the week except Sunday. We are closed on Sundays.

Do I need to be home to receive my delivery??

At the time of checkout, you can provide additional delivery instructions such as asking for the box to be left with a neighbor or security.

We will also call, sms or email you on the day of delivery so you can ensure someone is at home to receive your order.

What is the minimum order size?

Our recipes are designed to serve two people and we are happy to deliver even a single order. You need to order for a minimum of Rs. 199 before you can checkout.

Do note, some areas have a minimum order amount for free shipping while others have a minimum order amount + additional delivery charges.

What is the maximum order size?

We accept bulk and party orders as well. You can get in touch with us directly for orders exceeding eight servings.

Are you a subscription service?

No. You only order what you need.

Do you accept returns?

When you receive your package, be sure to check if all the ingredients are available. In case of any damage, call our customer support immediately.

Will my order arrive well packaged?

Yes! Your package will be very well packaged and will be sent with all the necessary care.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept payment through PayuBiz, which allows you to pay with a credit card, debit card or net banking account. We also offer a Cash on Delivery option.

The item I want is out of stock – when will it be in?

Our stock is updated daily. Please check back frequently for updates on items listed as out of stock.
